Beginning merely as a concept in 2015, the Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI) was founded in February 2019 as an open community dedicated to creating, standardizing, and sharing cyber intelligence best practices. Since then, we have expanded our horizons to provide a host of cybersecurity consultation services, with a mission to provide low-cost solutions to empower small businesses.

We focus on delivering tailored cybersecurity standards and practical guidance specifically designed for small companies' unique challenges. Our mission is to foster a secure, innovative environment where small businesses can thrive without the complexities of cyber threats.
CCI provides accessible, expert-driven resources and solutions that are both affordable and easy to implement. We are committed to helping small business owners enhance their cybersecurity posture by simplifying the adoption of proven security practices and technologies.
As a small business that prides itself on being vendor agnostic, we are not pressured by the commercial industry. This allows us to provide our clients with unbiased, practical, and cost-effective cybersecurity solutions.

As we did when we were founded, we still aim to make dozens of CCI tools, documents, and other resources available to anyone interested in improving the cyber intelligence industry for free or at no cost. We will forever retain a mindset of contribution to open-source projects and remain dedicated to producing materials and services collaboratively.

Meet the Team
CCI Founder
Chris Cooley
With over 16 years of experience in intelligence and security, Chris is an experienced and broadly skilled cybersecurity expert with expertise in Security Architecture, Risk Management, Identity Management, Incident Management, Threat Prevention & Detection, Legal & Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Budget Management, Program Management, Project Delivery, Compliance & Audits, and Business Enablement.
Chris began his career in intelligence by enlisting in the U.S. Army National Guard in 2007 as a Military Intelligence Analyst and began his career in Cyber Intelligence in 2015. Chris enjoys rock climbing, photography, music, and snowboarding and is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
